Summit Hosting is a Diamond level Act! partner that acquired Tech Commandos last year, and is one of the top Act! resellers in North America. Their vice president, Brock Ball, is an excellent business executive, and one I got to know better after meeting him at the Act! Conference last fall. So it was no small honour when he approached me recently to discuss outsourcing his technical support needs to us.

Summit will be the second Act! Diamond Partner to outsource their support to us, as last August, a Michegan based reseller named Aspentech did the same, and it's worked out great so far. 

Keystroke has over thirty full-time staff, with ten dedicated technical support reps, and five developers, so we're uniquely equipped to handle the support needs of such a larger Act! partner. • Fun fact, the previous owners of Tech Commandos, James & Geri Davis, were personal friends of mine, and our families had traveled together a few times. I even took my kids to their island cottage in Northern Ontario for a fun-filled weekend just before the pandemic.

It is important to note that this is a support partnership only, not an acquisition. There will be no changes to these customers' Reseller of Record (ROR), and Summit Hosting will continue to handle all their Act! licensing needs, including managing their renewals and additional license sales. Keystroke will have no access to Act! portal information for these customers.
