On May 5th we published a blog announcing the new & improved Tablest4act - the leading custom table solution for Act! users. This blog details all the new features and bug fixes included in this version, along with some commercial updates. Fast forward to today, and we're excited to announce that these new features are scheduled to be bundled with next week's Act! Premium v25 release on June 6th. • Dual Access: our main Tables4act - Dual Access product supports publishing to the web, and is licensed on a "per user / per machine" subscription basis. This means you can install it on multiple workstations on a "per user" user bases. Perfect for users with RDB's on a laptop and desktop that syncs to the hosted database.
• Act! Bundling: this subscription version of Tables4act is licensed by Act! and is the only one that supports publishing to the web and per user. This version also supports multiple databases, which Tables4act does not.
• Desktop (no web): as the name implies, Tables4act - Desktop is licensed per installation on subscription, and cannot publish to the web. This version is ideal for people who want to use Tables on multiple databases on one computer.
• Legacy: Similar to desktop, but uses older code and is purchased for a low one-time cost. This version is deprecated and will be taken off the site by end of the year
