In late May, Act! launched their new add-on marketplace. It was a soft launch with little fanfare because there are only seventy products from two vendors being featured, Keystroke.net and ActToday, but more publisher's products are scheduled to be posted in the coming weeks.

As some may recall, Keystroke used to manage the Act! Marketplace at www.actaddons.net, but we decided late last summer to turn it over to Act! to take it to the next level. We knew their marketing reach far exceeded our own, and they'd give it an instant legitimacy we never could. The new domain is https://addons.act.com and will go under the branding of "Act! Apps".

This is an important initiative for Act! as they've long understood the importance of add-ons to the Act! community, and production-ready www.Actaddons.net allowed them to go to market faster than they could otherwise. We're excited because products like Linktivity, Qsales, QuickTasks, Act4outlook, Knowtifier, and others will suddenly get a much wider audience.

If you're using Act! Premium Cloud, you likely noticed the change to the left-side Navbar with the addition of the "Act Marketplace" menu option. Act! Premium users will see the Act! Connect menu item. Both of these will take you to the first iteration of the Marketplace. This will soon include links to the new "Act! Apps" page with featured products likely being displayed in a carousel of some sort.

You can see the two sites below as they are now before they've been combined. Stay tuned for more updates through the summer as this marketplace swells it's inventory to include products from the top publishers around the world.
