Regardless of where you live in Canada, Thanksgiving is about celebrating together with family and friends over a big meal. These moments are when the family fabric is sewn, and the bonds between loved ones are forged.
Unfortunately, the last few years have increased food insecurity with a growing number of Canadian families, making this holiday tradition simply out of reach for too many. The increasing cost of food, fuel, and rent has sadly widened the impact further.
It is for this reason that last December Keystroke started the first of several fundraising drives in partnership with Second Harvest, Canada's largest food salvage organization. To date, we have raised 20,000 meals for Canadians suffering from food insecurity, and those donations have been matched to double that to a combined 40,000 meals.
Last Friday we donated $1000 to Second Harvest with the specific intent of helping feed families around the Thanksgiving holiday, and we invite everyone to join us by clicking HERE to donate. And thanks to the generosity of TUMS, all donations up to $75,000 will be matched, meaning the impact of your generosity will be doubled.
Please help us keep the tradition of Thanksgiving alive for as many Canadians as possible, and let's end hunger together.
