We're pleased to announce that three new features are being added to Act! Premium Cloud this week. All three will initially be introduced to new users only, which means "new to Act!", and not just APC. The reason for this strategy is to test each of them on virgin accounts before finalizing migration plans for existing accounts.
New Outlook & Gmail Integration
Experience a streamlined Outlook and Gmail integration process that allows for setup and configuration without leaving Act! It is available to new Act! Premium Cloud users on both Windows and Mac operating systems. The pilot for this feature launches for new customers on April 2nd. The scheduling of the staggard rollout will be based on early feedback.
- Simplified Setup Process: Users will set up and configure their email integration without installing additional files or navigating away from Act!
- Integration for Mac OS users: The absence of an executable file will allow Apple Mac users the ability to integrate their email and calendars with Act!
- No UI within Outlook or Gmail: Unlike Act! Sidebar for Outlook and Act! Premium Contact Link there will be no Act! UI within Outlook or Gmail. Act! Sidebar for Outlook plug-in available if preferred.
- 2-Way Synchronization: Email exchanges and new or updated activities flow seamlessly between applications.
Activity & History Workflow Enhancements
Experience modern activity and history workflows with a redesigned interface that’s more intuitive and enjoyable to use. The pilot for this feature will launch for new customers on April 2nd, and a staggard rollout will begin on April 16th.
- The “Regarding” field: The “Regarding” field is now the “Title” field, which will be reflected in history and task lists as the title of the activity. For users who set up the new email integration, the title will also be the email subject line to invitees
- The “Invitee” field: The “Invitee” field is now limited to contacts who have associated email addresses and if new email integration is configured a meeting invite will appear on their Google or Outlook calendars
- The “Date/Time” selector: The “Date/Time” selector has been redesigned to look, function, and perform better
- The “Associate with” field: The “Associate with” field was also redesigned to be more intuitive, particularly when associating with multiple selections
Act! Premium Cloud Mobile
Built to the latest accessibility and usability standards, Act! Premium Cloud Mobile is the most modern, intuitive, and powerful Act! mobile app yet. Available for Android or iOS, exclusively to Act! Premium Cloud subscribers. The pilot for this product is scheduled for April 17th, 2024.
- Comprehensive contact management at your fingertips: Quickly find existing contacts with intuitive search capabilities, add new contacts, review and add notes to contact records, and contact customers via phone, text, and email.
- Calendar and task management on-the-go: Stay on top of the day’s tasks with integrated activity lists and access to the Act! calendar. Easily schedule calls, meetings, and tasks, record meeting notes, and utilize notifications to stay organized and on time.
- Opportunity metrics at a glance: Robust opportunity management keeps sales opportunities advancing. Add, edit, and manage opportunities through each stage of a sales cycle, including filterable dashboards that summarize open deals by count, value, age, and more.
