No matter where you are in Canada, Thanksgiving is a time to gather with family and friends, sharing a hearty meal and creating cherished memories. These moments strengthen family ties and deepen bonds with loved ones.
However, in recent years, food insecurity has become a growing issue for many Canadian families, making it difficult for them to partake in this beloved tradition. Rising costs of food, fuel, and rent have only exacerbated the problem. One in ten people in Toronto now use the services of a food bank.
To address this, Keystroke launched a series of fundraising drives in recent years in partnership with Second Harvest, Canada’s largest food rescue organization. So far, we have raised enough to provide 40,000 meals for Canadians facing food insecurity.
Next week, we'll donate $1,000 to Second Harvest to help feed families during Thanksgiving. We encourage everyone to join us by clicking HERE to donate. Thanks to the generosity of TUMS, all donations up to $75,000 will be matched, doubling the impact of your contribution.
Let’s work together to keep the Thanksgiving tradition alive for as many Canadians as possible and help end hunger.
