In November of 2022, we made updates to a lot of our products to support OAuth changes to both Google & Microsoft mail services. Unfortunately, more updates are required to support Office 365 users, as Microsoft has started phasing out all support for basic SMTP authentication, even those using OAuth.

This has forced us to initiate more OAuth updates to all our products, specifically ones with emailing features like our MailMerge products, Qsales, Tables, Opt-in Manager, Knowtifier, QuickTasks, QuickMeets, Dash, Alerts, and many others.

Linktivity Updates:
For those subscribing to our Linktivity services, the OAuth updates were applied to our servers successfully this week. 

Subscribers leveraging Office 365 accounts must re-establish their authentication credentials in the Workspace settings to implement these updates. To do this, simply remove the current authorization by clicking the ‘X’ next to the authorization field. Then, initiate the authorization process anew. Our system has been enhanced to integrate with the Microsoft Graph API; however, this improvement necessitates a fresh authorization to activate.

Rest assured, once you've completed this reauthorization step, any emails currently in your “Pending Emails” queue will be dispatched promptly.

Product Update Policy:
If you own or subscribe to one of the affected products, our update policy will be as follows:

• Perpetual license products: We will fix all supported versions of these products without charge. Anyone with a current perpetual license of one of our products will be notified week when the free updates are completed. Those using unsupported products (eg.., Designer v7 or Dash v10 and older) will need to purchase the current version of each product or switch to a compatible email provider. 
• Subscription products: Anyone on a subscription product like Opt-in Manager, HHC Classic, Knowtifier, Tables, or Qsales, to name a few, will also get free updates. 

Products like Act4outlook and Act4mail use the Outlook email settings and therefore do not require any updates.
