In May of 2020 Keystroke added some much-needed flexibility to our VIP support plans to help our customers in the early days of the pandemic. We realized that the shift to remote work was fast, and customers suddenly needed more support than normal to shift to this new work paradigm.
For those unfamiliar with our VIP Plans, they are popular technical support time-blocks used for customization projects, deployments, importing, migrations, development, you name it. The only condition we ever imposed with these plans was the limit of one VIP per year because their price represented almost 50% off our normal rates.
Under normal circumstances, when a client's VIP time-block is exhausted, the customer would need to pay the normal hourly rate ($150/hour) until they're eligible to purchase a VIP plan again.
Keystroke originally decided to suspend these "one-per-year" limits through the summer of 2020 to allow our clients to purchase as many VIP or VIP Diamond plans as they needed for their projects. When that summer ended without much improvement in the pandemic, we extended this flexibility another year.
It is now early August 2021, and with lockdowns ending across North America and the economy opening up for most industries, we don’t think another extension beyond this summer is warranted.
That said, we know that some of our customers are still recovering from the economic impact of COVID-19, so we wanted to announce the opportunity to stock up on VIP plans for another four weeks while the VIP rules remain suspended.
To put it in context, Keystroke has the largest and one of the most experienced technical support teams in the Act! community, and for the balance of this month customers can purchase support for less than $90/hour. With support available from 8AM – 8PM EST, Monday through Friday, this is the best support value available, and we think many will take advantage of the savings.
