We're very excited to announce that the Keystroke Account Manager (KAM) has just been enhanced to provide our customers complete accounting visibility. The process couldn't be simpler. Go to https://kam.kqc.ca or use our Android or IOS app, and click “Manage accounts” in the Keystroke Account Manager to see all their invoices, sales receipts, payments, credit memos, and even filter for transaction type and date ranges.
The new KAM even allows you to drill down into any invoice, and pay the ones with an open palances immediately. No more calling or emailing us for account details, everything you need is now stored within the KAM, and always at your fingertips. Compare transactions from years gone by, and see all your purchases and payments in one place, whether you bought online or paid an invoice on terms. This level of account visibility is unmatched by any other vendor in this industry, and we believe reflects the commitment we have to our customers.
Like other features in the KAM, the application reads the data directly from your account in our Act! database through our exclusive Keystroke API (K-API for short). This latest accounting integration was made possible with our acquisition of Qsales for Act!. Prior to this, our customers could view all their software subscription and support contract details in KAM because we stored this information in separate custom tables in our database. With the introduction of Qsales into our business, all customers transactions are now synced from QuickBooks into Act! as custom tables. So now all our staff can lookup a contact in Act! and get an instant picture of the history of that account.
Once we had this data in our database, we knew we could surface these new custom tables in the KAM, so we set out to build it. Now our customers have a live view of the same data our staff see, except it's from the comfort of their computer browser or mobile device.
