Our History
Established in 1994, Keystroke began as a regional company specializing in technical sales and services. By 2004, we pivoted towards CRM and web solutions, endorsing Act! as our preferred platform. Our expertise in networking enabled us to efficiently manage and host our clients’ databases, quickly positioning us as the leading Act! reseller nationwide. This led to our recognition as the Act! Master Distributor for Canada and the exclusive Canadian Act! hosting provider.

Our journey to becoming the world’s top Act! Reseller in 2015 was marked by strategic business acquisitions, dedicated effort, and a clear vision. We expanded our team to over fifty Act! consultants across North America. We also ventured into creating Act! add-ons tailored for specific sectors such as wealth management, mortgage brokerage, and technical support.

The acquisition of Contactik in mid-2016, the French distributor for Act!, enabled us to offer bilingual services and establish ourselves as the primary French technical support for Act! in North America. Shortly thereafter, we acquired Handheld Contact, the leading Act! mobile solution, broadening our global distribution network.

In mid-2017, we took over DesignR1, the former world-leading Act! reseller, adding a vast array of add-on products to our portfolio. Consequently, in 2018, we assumed control of the Act! Add-on Store, featuring the most extensive collection of add-ons available (this store was later handed over to Act!).

Our innovation in custom table technology in 2016 laid the groundwork for what would become Act! Premium Plus. In 2021, we further expanded our product range by acquiring all Act! add-on products from TopLine Results, ASDS, and Effective Solutions. Keystroke now boasts a catalog of over one hundred software solutions.

In 2019, we embarked on the development of a collection of productivity tools, which would eventually be recognized as Linktivity.net. By 2023, this collection had expanded to encompass eight distinct products, and we established a distribution partnership with Act! later that same year

Our Present
As of March of 2024, have two offices in Ontario, with 30+ employees spread across three countries, and we are the undisputed worldwide leader in Act! sales, support, and development. In this 30th year of business, we thought it fitting to celebrate with our customers by offering 30% off some of our most popular products.

Our Future
We have a lot to look forward to. This year we established a partnership with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB), which is Canada's #1 business advocacy organization with over 97,000 member businesses. Keystroke is now one of only 13 preferred partners with CFIB. Combine that with our new Linktivity distribution partnership with Act!, the renewal of our Canadian Master VAR contract, and the release our of Keystroke Contact Manager to complement Act! Premium Cloud, and our market reach has never been stronger.
