Today we launch the beta testing period for Designer v8, the first custom table product made for Act!.

This version is focused on performance improvements, but will also deliver some delighters for customers. The new features include the following:

• enhanced memory management
• improved speed and performance
• updated UI changes
• added support for picture fields in detail view

A direct request to all Act! consultants we sent out this morning, and they were advised the beta period will run from today through to the end of the month. If you're a past user of Designer and would like to try this new version to determine if it's right for you, and report on any issues, please use this LINK. Bugs can be submitted to Bugs!KQC. You will have to create a free online account if you have not already done so.
Anyone who provides valuable feedback will be given NFR copies of Designer v8 for their personal use. The eligibility and quantity will be determined by the quality of the feedback we receive.
