Last year we sold almost 600 licenses of Act! Pro v22, so we thought we'd let those customers know that an important security patch from Act! became available today for that version.
This security patch relates to a vulnerability with Act! Pro, Act! Premium and Act! Growth Suite software that may make it possible for a threat actor to gain unauthorized access to your system, which you can learn more about HERE.
A few things you should know in advance before applying this patch:
- This patch will only work with Act! 22.1. If you’re using Act! Pro v22.0, please update to 22.1 prior to applying the patch. You can download the full installation of Act! Pro v22.1 HERE.

Click "Help > About Act!" from within your Act! program - The Act! 22.1 Update 5 patch will be available at https://www.act.com/resources/downloads/act-v22-downloads/
- Act! must be closed in order to apply this patch, and it must be applied to all Act! installations on your team.
- No other features or fixes are included with Update 5 for Act! v22.1
- There is no cost for this patch or the upgrade from Act! Pro 22.0 to 22.1
It is vital that you apply this update immediately to safeguard yourself from a serious security vulnerability. This process should not require technical assistance in most cases, but it is available to Keystroke customers with a support plan in place (VIP plans can be purchased online).
