Some ideas are not new, just long in coming. For years we wanted one place where our customers could see all our product updates. These updates would include new features, fixes, changes, you name it, while also providing links to downloads, training resources, and yes, even purchasing. The idea was this page would function like a timeline, displaying all the most recently updated products and services at the top, while still including a handy search tool.

We have well over one hundred products, so we needed searching and sorting features for it to be useful.

Well, as you may have guessed, that resource is now here. Today we launched our new Product Updates page (short link is www.Link2.sh/updates), or more simply found on our www.Keystroke.net home page at the new big green button! This new page syncs all the products from our Keystroke shopping cart, and all version updates from our download site at www.act4work.com and aggregates them together into this one place.

As you might guess, this new resource is database driven and developed by Jason Chin, a developer that just returned to the Keystroke fold after 14 years. Read more about that fun story HERE.

Currently, the update feature displays the following product information, sorted chronologically by order of updates:

• Product tile, name, and version number
• Release date of the current installer, where applicable
• Changelog (timeline of all product changes)
• Quick icon links to our Shopping cart, Knowledgebase, PDF manual, Sharing, Video, and download folder (if any of these are unavailable for a particular product, the icons will be greyed out)

Anyway, it's early days, and you can expect many few features and additions to this resource over the next days and weeks to come, but thanks to the expertise of our newest team member, we have this in production now, and ready to serve the needs of our customers and resellers moving forward. One recent implementation of this new technology is within our Keystroke shopping cart, where the update details are displayed for each product. See the image below for an example.  

Recently we added a filtered version of this product update page on Linktivity.net to show only the updates for the Link2 products. This was especially important to us because changes to these programs were happening almost daily. That page can be found HERE.
