Microsoft announced the release of Windows® 10 on July 29, 2015. Upgrading to Windows® 10 introduces many new features, some of which may affect Act!. We highly recommend performing a complete backup of your Act! database prior to upgrading to Windows®, though the current version of Act! (v17) is NOT fully supported. We have additional recommendations to make your transition as smooth as possible - please visit the following Knowledgebase article to review our best practice guide: KB#38171.
Keystroke's position is that ACT v17 and Windows 10 are NOT compatible, and we have no knowledge of a date that service packs and/or hot fixes will be available to make them so. Until such time, please consider this an unsupported combination. We also strongly recommend upgrading to ACT v18 to ensure Windows 10 compatibility.
