Using Default Settings
Designer stores the current user's Designer preferences (such as ) under the current Windows profile, as [Database]-admin-Personal.xml. To erase these settings and start with the Administrator's default settings:
- Open ACT!
Click on the Tools menu and select Keystroke Designer - Manager...
- If using a Publishing or Non-Publishing, the Entity Manager window will appear. Click on the About button in the lower left hand corner.
- If using a Remote database, an dialog box will appear with a message about the Entity Manager being unavailable. Click Ok to see the version information.
- Version and Serial # will be displayed. Click on the Erase Personal Settings link.
- Personal settings will be replaced with Administrator Default settings, but can also be personalized.
