Applying Preconfigured Templates
The fastest way to get started is to apply one of the built-in templates provided. This will automatically add new tables and fields to your database to help you get started.
Please note: It is strongly recommended that you back up your database before you continue.
- Open Act!
- Click on the Tools menu and select Keystroke Designer - Manager...
- Click on the Apply a Database Template link
- Read the warning and click the ellipses button.
- You should already be directed to the Templates folder for Designer, however if you aren't the templates can be found in C:\Program Files(x86)\Topline Results\Topline Designer\Templates.
- Click on the template you want to apply and click open.
- Click Begin Import to confirm the database lock and schema change.
- An Import Log will open and show the template's status.
- Click OK to close the Apply Database Template window.
