As of May 5th, 2015, Swiftpage has transitioned to a subscription based purchase model, bringing them into alignment with the rest of the CRM industry. The benefits of subscription are as follows:

Cost

Significantly lower cost of entry, as subscription is comparable to purchasing Business Care without having to make the capital investment in the Act! software.

Support

Both Loyalty and Regular price ACT subscription offerings included support throughout the subscription period, whereas previous versions of Act! included 30-days or less

Subscription now includes five hours of training videos, whereas this was only available at an extra cost previously

Migration Paths to Subscription

What is the migration path for current Act! (non-Business Care) Customers
Act! v15-v17 users can get access to Loyalty Pricing by calling Act! Sales or their ACC and placing an order for whichever option is best. We suggest leading with the annual subscription, or if they are attached to maintaining license permanence, lead with the Perpetual option. Act! v14 and older customers may call in to place an order (at standard pricing).
What is the migration path for current Act! Hosted Customers?
We have lowered the price of the former Act! Hosted (now Act! Premium Cloud) solution to $35/user/month and $350 /user/year. All current Act! Hosted customers will have their current pricing changed to the lower price on their billing anniversary date in May. Please note, current Act! Hosted includes Business Care Gold at no cost; to receive equivalent support in the new subscription offers, Act! Premium Cloud customers may add Premier support (making their monthly total $40 /user- still less than what they currently pay).
What happens to customers on Business Care?
Customers on Business Care are able to continue receiving the benefits of their existing Business Care plan until the existing contract end-date. At time of renewal, they may migrate to one of the new subscription plans- details for which plan is best for which Business Care customer are below. All Business Care customers retain license permanence at no additional cost (therefore, the Perpetual option is unnecessary for this group).

Business Care customers must renew into a new subscription plan within 30 days of the end of their current Business Care contract in order to be able to take advantage of the grandlathered license permanence. Loyalty pricing will be available lor a limited time only.
What happens to the Business Care discount for Act! emarketing?
Business Care customers who are currently using the discount will keep their discount upon renewal into subscription. Business Care customers who are not currently taking advantage of the discount will lose the right to it upon migration to subscription.
What happens to the Business Care discount for Handheld Contact?
Good news! Effective January 28th, 2016, all Keystroke Customers with Act! subscriptions will continue to receive 50% off for as long as their accounts are active and purchased through Keystroke. Business Care customers that purchased their subscriptions elsewhere and who are currently using the discount may continue to receive the discount until the end of their HHC contract. Upon renewal of their contract, non-Keystroke customers will no longer have access to the discount and may pay full price for Handheld Contact.
